Does being an entrepreneur ever feel like an isolating experience?

The early days of being an eCommerce entrepreneur can consist of long hours working from home without anyone to interact with. And, since navigating the ins-and-outs of selling on Amazon can be challenging, it’s important to find a tribe that you can bounce ideas off of and learn from.

If you’re an eCommerce seller who’s just starting out, you can spend time and money learning from your mistakes, or you can dramatically speed up the learning curve by joining a forum.

To help you get a head start on learning, I’m going to save you time by recommending the best forums for Amazon Sellers. In this post you’ll learn:

  • What Amazon seller forums are
  • Why you should join an Amazon seller forum
  • Which Amazon seller forums to visit

Read on to learn about the benefits of Amazon seller forums and which ones you should join to connect with entrepreneurs like yourself.

What Are Amazon Seller Forums?

An Amazon seller forum is a website, group, or community that’s dedicated entirely to Amazon sellers, and is a place for sellers to get questions answered by their peers and share tips and tricks.

If you’ve ever done in-depth research on a subject you’ve probably stumbled across a forum through Google. Forums can be a great resource for anyone who’s trying to learn about a new subject or research a topic.

For example, it’s common for many eCommerce entrepreneurs to have started their journey with a search like “how to sell online” in Google and stumbled upon a forum.

There are likely thousands of forums online for eCommerce entrepreneurs, with a smaller segment that are dedicated to Amazon sellers and an even smaller segment which are high-quality.

Forums have evolved over the years, too. They used to be message board type websites but these days there are many other great forums like Quora, Facebook, and LinkedIn groups.

At the end of the day a forum is just a community, and the amount of value you get from it is dependent on the quality of the community.

Why You Should Join An Amazon Seller Forum

The eCommerce industry is always changing, and staying ahead of new trends and technology is a constant battle.

Amazon forums are a great resource for helping you to become a better Amazon seller. While there are a lot of resources available for sellers to stay up to date with the industry, there really isn’t anything quite as good as learning from those who have come before you. Whether you’re an active member of the forum community or an occasional lurker, you can benefit from:

  • Advice on how to run and grow your Amazon business, from sellers who have done it
  • Awareness about common pain points and how to solve them
  • Practice advice on issues such as Amazon restricted categories or how to appeal an Amazon suspension
  • A place to talk with likeminded people

Members of these types of forums are looking for answers to their questions and the best way for them to get help is to share their knowledge with the community to build goodwill.

By joining an Amazon seller forum not only can you get your questions answered but you can also get new ideas and grow your professional network which can lead to other opportunities.

Lastly, one overlooked benefit of joining a forum is the social aspect. If you’re a solo entrepreneur you know how lonely it can be sometimes, so having a community that you can interact with can be good for your mental health as well.

And, the best part is that they’re mostly free, friendly and for everyone, whatever your experience.

Which Amazon Seller Forums to Visit

While there are many forums for Amazon sellers out there, not all of them are of high quality. There are many factors that go into determining how good a forum is, but at the end of the day it really boils down to your personal preferences.

To help you save time, I’ve handpicked some of the best Amazon seller forums online. Give each one a browse and start participating in discussions to see which one adds the most value for you!

1) Amazon Seller Central

No list of Amazon Seller forums would be complete without the forum that Amazon created for their own sellers.

Amazon Seller Central is one of the first places that sellers can and should go to, to ask questions and find answers about selling on the platform. The official knowledge center of Amazon has 14 categories, covering an abundance of topics from Seller Fulfilled Prime and Amazon Pay to restricted products and getting started. There are also a number of ‘sticky’ threads to point you in the right direction for commonly asked questions.

If you’re new to selling on Amazon, this is the first forum you should frequent to get your questions answered. Not only is it very active, but it’s also the best place to get official announcements from Amazon regarding best practices and compliance.

2) Amazon Sellers

The aptly named Amazon Seller is another Facebook community for anyone selling on the online marketplace. Amazon Sellers is a Facebook group that’s been around since 2007!

With 54,129 members and 601 posts in the last 30 days, Amazon Sellers is a hub for sharing information and seeking advice about selling on Amazon across the globe. There are a few posting guidelines to follow, but as long as you stick to the rules, then you’re in.

It has over 50,000 members and is very active, with members posting dozens of questions and tips daily.

We love that it’s dedicated specifically to selling on Amazon so the content is super relevant, plus if you’re comfortable with Facebook already you won’t need to worry about learning the ins-and-outs of a new forum.

3) Amazon Sellers on Reddit

r/FulfillmentByAmazon is a sub-forum on the popular Reddit channel. Featuring weekly Q&As and regular questions and advice, this is a top destination for anyone looking for quick help on any topic. The active community also means that this forum is quick to update you on any changes or updates to Amazon rules and regulations.

With over 1,000 members, this subreddit isn’t quite as popular as the forums I’ve mentioned above, but it’s still a nice resource for you to bookmark. Members of this subreddit don’t post too often but there are some posts that are gems. Plus, if you’re comfortable with Reddit then this forum might be preferable over others out there.

4) The AMZ Tracker Community

This forum, started by our friends over at AMZ Tracker, is another option for getting great advice about selling on Amazon.

The forum is dedicated to helping Amazon sellers answer questions, solve issues, and scale their business. You can view topics by discussion, latest activity, or “best of” to learn and discover information relevant to your business, such as ways to improve your Amazon sales rank and Lightning Deals.

While this forum doesn’t get much engagement it has a ton of great posts and valuable information for new and experienced sellers alike. Check out the thread on their best posts to see why this forum made our list!

5) Amazon Seller Space on Quora

Quora is a forum that crowdsources questions and answers on virtually every subject imaginable. So while it wasn’t specifically created for Amazon sellers we thought their “Amazon Seller Space” was worth a mention.

It currently has nearly a thousand members, and even though they don’t post much in the space, many of the memberd are thought leaders who you can follow to browse their other contributions to the Amazon seller community and the eCommerce community in general.

6) Amazon Seller Meetups

If you’re up for networking the old fashion way, Meetup.com is a great way to meet like minded individuals in your area.

While a meetup may be less convenient than an online forum, it’s a great way to connect with other Amazon sellers who can give you valuable advice about selling on Amazon.

With hundreds of groups around the world and over 70,000 members, there’s bound to be a meetup in a city near you.

7) Warrior Forum

Warrior Forum has earned its reputation as the world’s largest internet marketing community, boasting more than 1.1 million members. This makes it the ideal forum for Amazon sellers looking to learn more about online marketing, including SEO, email marketing, growth hacking, and PPC advertising for Amazon and any other platforms you sell on.

8) eCommerce Fuel

Ranked as one of the top eCommerce podcasts in our State of Multi-channel eCommerce survey, eCommerce Fuel also runs a hugely popular eCommerce forum. With more than 1,000 high-revenue store owners, you can tap into a global network of Amazon and other online marketplace sellers, to seek advice and learn about scaling. Plus, with more than 10,000 historical discussions to browse, there’s little that you can’t discover from this forum.

9) StartupBros

StartupBros is an eCommerce hub, offering Amazon sellers virtual mastermind programs, training courses, and live events. Anyone signing up to these services also receives access to the StartupBros informative forum, where you can join like-minded sellers who are eager to learn and grow their business on Amazon and beyond.

10) Full-time FBA

If you’re looking for an Amazon seller Facebook group to join forum-like discussions, then Full-Time FBA is the perfect destination. With the aim of turning part-time Amazon sellers into full-time FBA superstars, they welcome questions, sharing, and caring. Products can also be promoted with permission. And, with 9,456 current members, it’s hugely active.

11) FBA All-Stars

Another Facebook forum for Amazon FBA and SFP sellers is FBA All-Stars. This Facebook community helps Amazon sellers to build bigger and better private label profits by providing a masterclass of FBA success. Goal and strategy-sharing are encouraged, as is holding each member accountable for their own scaling and success.

Over To You

There are now more than 898,000 sellers on the Amazon US marketplace – that’s more than double the population of Iceland. To be successful, you need to stay ahead of the competition. This requires expert knowledge, tips, and advice – something that the top Amazon seller forums can help you with.

The handful of forums above are some of my favorite on the web for Amazon sellers. While not all of them may be right for you, I encourage you to check them out if you’re looking to join a community of sellers like yourself.

The learning doesn’t stop there either. If you caught our recent blog on the top learning resources for multi-channel sellers, you’ll know that there are a plethora of Amazon resources to suit everyone’s learning style, including eCommerce blogs, podcasts, and social media influencers.

Staying ahead of the competition on Amazon may be tricky, but it needn’t be boring. With thousands of sellers having been there and done that, you can connect and learn with the best by visiting the forums that they do.
