Deliverr hits 200 employees and counting!

Deliverr is pleased to announce that we’ve crossed the 200 employee threshold and are growing strong. This comes on the heels of our Series D round in January 2021, where we raised $170 million in funding.

Deliverr as a career launching company

A little history, Deliverr started in 2018 with just over a dozen employees. Today, we’ve grown more than 13x, with Warehouse Operations experts, Account Executives, Sales Support Coordinators, Data Scientists, Engineers, and many more making up the team!

We plan on growing further to help our merchants offer fast fulfillment regardless of their size, where they sell, and where their customers live!  We’re looking for bright, talented individuals who want to make a big difference in eCommerce.

Put Customers First

We always start every initiative with the sellers (our customer). We then work backwards and make decisions to make the lives of our sellers better. We make our sellers’ lives better by enabling them to offer fast fulfillment cost-effectively. We believe our solution has to be simple (hassle-free) and scalable (serve large markets). We work hard to earn and keep our sellers’ trust. We pay more attention to our sellers than to our competition.

Be an Owner

Owners act even in the face of short-term failures as they build for the long term. Owners accept full responsibility even when it is not formally assigned, they collaborate toward the success of the project, they take initiative and they hold their co-workers and organizations accountable. Owners spend resources and money like it’s their own. They openly challenge the “Why’s” behind an initiative to ensure sound decision-making.

We believe that all of our employees are owners and we reflect that in our stock ownership.

Be Curious

A curious mind is a learning mind. We are curious about how to continuously improve our sellers’ lives and our co-workers’ lives. We are curious about new opportunities and act to explore them and make them a reality. We never stop asking questions and we are always open to learn, unlearn, and relearn. Insatiable curiosity leads to path-breaking innovation so we can find simple and elegant solutions to hard problems.

Be Lean

We try to do more with less.  We don’t overdevelop. Constrained resources can often lead to simpler and better solutions. We validate before we build and measure everything we build so we can continuously improve it. We believe that great solutions require methodical continuous innovation.

Be Honest and Direct

We seek direct, open, and constructive communication with our teammates even when the topics are challenging and emotional. There are no elephants in the room at Deliverr. We share our point of view backed by facts even if it means disagreeing with your manager, a large group or the CEO. We engage to find the best solution to the problem at hand. Once we make a decision we all commit no matter which side of the argument we were on. We make it safe to have these conversations backed by a philosophy of “assuming positive intent”.
