How to prepare for the online boost in orders

1) Double check all your listings.

Ensure your listings are updated:

  • Is your description the best it can be?
  • Does your title have all the key words shoppers are likely to search?
  • Is your pricing updated and ready to go?
  • Are your photos high resolution?

Tip: Follow our overall Walmart listing best practices for some quick wins.

2) Ensure you have enough inventory ready to fulfill.

There is no excuse for going out of stock in the middle of a huge, planned sales event. You’ll lose out on sales and risk allowing your competition to get the leg up in terms of recognition and reviews. Ensure you have plenty of inventory ready to go to avoid this.

Tip: Deliverr inbounding deadlines are November 3rd when you ship directly to our warehouses.

3) Prepare for at least 2x demand, but likely more.

2020 is the year of uncertainty, but all of our data so far points to a record-breaking year for eCommerce, and we have no reason to expect any differently from this BFCM sales season. Be prepared, and plan to stay prepared throughout Q4.

Good luck!
