Deliverr Recap: What did eCommerce fulfillment look like in 2020?

2020 was a groundbreaking year for eCommerce as a whole, and we experienced firsthand just how much the industry grew. Deliverr reached several milestones in 2020, and we now fulfill thousands of orders each day.

Before we dive into the exciting 2020 recap, we want to frame the data in light of where we’re headed. Here’s a note from our founder on what Deliverr will be in 2021.

More active Deliverr merchants

From 2019 to 2020 we expanded by several thousand active merchants who used Deliverr for their fulfillment. That means more merchants are using Deliverr to get items to their buyers as quickly as possible.

In 2021 we plan to onboard even more sellers, as we empower merchants of any size to fulfill orders quickly and delight their customers.

4 New fast tag programs launched

The more channels you sell on, the more diverse your business and the more income streams you have. Well, what’s better than getting the conversions that come from fast shipping tags multiplied across all of those channels?

In 2020, we expanded to include multiple new fast tag programs, including;

  1. Wish 2-day delivery
  2. Free and fast on Google Shopping
  3. Free 2-Day Delivery for Facebook ads
  4. Free 2-Day Delivery for Instagram ads

In 2021, we’ll help merchants get even more fast tags as we roll out new programs.

Deliverr aims to help you fulfill quickly, no matter where you sell. That’s why we place so much focus on creating direct integrations across different channels.

2020 was a big year for Deliverr partners, with 8 exciting new integrations. These include;

Reduced our support response times by 75%

At the end of 2019, the median response time to a support ticket was around 2 working days. When COVID-19 began, that increased to 3 days as we dealt with an unexpected volume surge.

By the end of 2020, our median response was down to just 1/2 a business day and we are aiming to increase this percentage of same day responses in 2021.

Launched the 1st annual Discoverr conference

In 2020 we held our very first annual virtual conference, featuring speakers from Walmart, Wish, ChannelAdvisor, Marketplace Pulse, and more. We brought on successful Deliverr merchants to share their strategies and stories, and sent out some awesome prizes.

More than half the country lives within 100 miles of a Deliverr location

Deliverr doubled our warehouse network in 2020, which means more than half of the country now lives within 100 miles of a Deliverr fulfillment center. Another way to think of it is that anyone you know likely lives a 2-hour drive from a Deliverr location. That coverage will only get better in 2021.
